Update

I have not been diligent about keeping up with my blog since I left to Italy. I thought I would have plenty of time to write about my experiences as they happened but I was so enamored by the country, it's people and all the art that writing was nowhere in my agenda.  I did jot down thoughts in my journal every day so I will be able to recall the experiences and share them will all who are interested.

Introduction

I did it! Here is the first entry to my blog.  I am about to embark on my most exciting adventure thus far... There are 19 days before I leave on this adventure.

My plan for this blog is to share a few paintings that I will be working on prior to leaving so I can be faster on location. Also, posting my plans leading up to the trip.

A little about me... Fine Artist raised in Los Angeles and just recently moved to Dallas.  I was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime to live in Italy and only concentrate on painting and assimilating the culture.

Specifically, I will be living in Desenzano del Garda but plan on traveling to Milan, Venice, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Latina, Verona, Florence, Monaco and Paris!

It will be quite an adventure.  So I appreciate you coming by and allowing me to share it with you.
